If I had to categorize myself in terms of a gambler, I’d say without a doubt I fall into the realm of a social gambler.
I work hard for my money and the last thing I want to do is lose it at a casino.
That being said, I do see the draw to laying it all out on the line and potentially winning two, three, or even four times what you bet.

Living in Jersey, gambling is a pretty big deal.
Especially when we have a place like Atlantic City where you can spend a weekend playing roulette, poker, blackjack, or just hitting the slots.
I’ve been to Atlantic City a few times, mainly I’ll hang out on the beach or grab a bit to eat, but I do see a lot of folks coming in to gamble.

I would assume that Vegas takes the number one spot in terms of states that gamble the most.
But Jersey I’d think is pretty high up seeing how we are a pretty big area for Casinos.
Fortunately, there’s an answer for every question and the folks at Wallet Hub set out to answer that exact question.
They looked at data from each state throughout the country and took into consideration things like gambler friendliness as well as states’ treatment options for gambling addiction.
Jersey ranked number 6 in the country in terms of states that gamble the most.
