With Tony Gonsolin going for Los Angeles in this game, there aren’t too many matchups you can point to where the hitter has the advantage. But Trent Grisham is a sneaky option, and the juicy return has me backing him to get over this prop. Grisham has faced Gonsolin 10 times in his career, posting a .400 average and 1.100 OPS against the Dodger righty, with a home run included for good measure.

As a key piece of San Diego’s win in the Wild Card round, Grisham is in good form for the playoffs. However, he has historically struggled in Dodger Stadium, so the series returning to Petco Park should be a boost for him. There’s safety in this number sitting on a flat one base, as just a single guarantees a push. But the big return for exceeding that has my attention, and I’m backing Grisham to get to multiple bases tonight.
