I like the chances of the Wolfpack running it up here against a very poor Virginia defense. It’s a homecoming for NC State quarterback Brennan Armstrong who transferred from Virginia, and his OC Robert Anae was also at UVA with him. Virginia has faced three fairly potent offenses so far this season, allowing 42.3 points per game so far. They’re towards the bottom of the country in deeper defensive metrics as a result, and this Wolfpack offense is rounding into form after facing a couple of tough defenses. I think Armstrong and Anae take the opportunity and make a statement against their old program, with a bad Cavaliers defense unable to do anything about it.
