The Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) is calling on gaming venues to keep vigilant and intervene if patrons display signs of gambling harm.
The plea was made after figures revealed four Victorian AFL clubs cashed in more than $40m from poker machines in the last financial year.
CEO Annette Kimmitt told Virginia Trioli said the VGCCC expects the industry to do what they can to keep patrons safe.
