The Swedish Gambling Authority (Spelinspektionen) has submitted its final reports for two government assignments into gambling responsibility measures.
The first assignment is being carried out in partnership with the Public Health Agency, the Swedish Consumer Agency and the Norwegian Enforcement Agency.
The aim is to discover how accessibility to games and playing develop in the short term, and then to propose measure within the framework of the existing licensing system to strengthen consumer protection and counteract public health problems.
The second was to examine the reasons why people stop playing, and of those who do, how many were playing with gambling companies who did not hold a Swedish licence.
