Jirehl Brock, Iowa State’s leading rusher last season, has voluntarily left the program, an ISU athletics spokesperson confirmed Monday to The Gazette.

The Des Moines Register first reported the news.

Brock was charged with tampering with records earlier this month as part of the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation’s ongoing inquiry into sports gambling. He rushed for 445 yards and three touchdowns during an injury-plagued 2022 season.
