BROWN COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Four game rooms were raided for gambling near Lake Brownwood Friday.
The Brown Country Sheriff’s Office executed search at the following establishments off State Highway 279 after an undercover operation discovered they may be involved in illegal gambling: Lucky Links Game Room, 777 Game Room, Friends Game Room, Lucky Ducky Game Room.
Several suspects were arrested for gambling-related charges such as Gambling Promotion, Keeping a Gambling Place, and Possession of Gambling Device, Equipment, or Paraphernalia.

Some of the suspects were also charged with Manufacture and Deliver of a Controlled
Substance >4g <200 grams and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon in connection to other criminal activity uncovered during the investigation.
All patrons found at the establishments during the raid were issued warning and citations then released.
Additional charges and arrests are pending the conclusion of this investigation.
