As Racing Minister Winston Peters seeks to bring back horse racing’s mojo, the Department of Internal Affairs wants to tighten up the rules relating to the racing industry’s largest benefactor.
In a briefing, the Department of Internal Affairs suggested Peters introduce new regulatory requirements for TAB to bring it in line with other forms of domestic gambling.
