The police arrested three men in an anti-illegal gambling operation and seized from them drugs and a gun in Taguig on May 18.
The suspects were identified as Jeric Belmonte, 23; Michael Batjer, 31; and Christian Galorio, 25, who were caught playing cara y cruz in Purok 10 PNR Site in Barangay Western Bicutan by personnel from the Taguig police’s Western Bicutan Substation 2.

During the operation, police seized coins, P540 in different denominations, a .9mm-caliber pistol with magazine loaded with three pieces of live ammunition, and two plastic sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of eight grams and valued at P54,400.
“We will continue our operations to ensure that our community is free from illegal activities,” said Southern Police District chief Brig. Gen. Kirby John Kraft.
