The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board said combined revenue from gaming in Pa. has hit an all-time high.
Total revenue topped the half-billion dollar mark last month for the first time since legalized gambling began in 2006.
- March 2023 total revenue: $515,278,831
- The total was an increase of 11.35% compared to March 2022
Sources of gaming in Pennsylvania include:
- Slot machines
- Table games
- Internet gaming
- Sports wagering
- Fantasy contests
- Video gaming terminals
Revenue last month at Hollywood Casino at Penn National in Dauphin County was nearly $81 million, which was up 27% from a year ago.
At Hollywood Casino in York, revenue was $9.3 million, an increase of 19%.
