With online gambling’s expansion in Ontario marking one year, experts believe the market can still expand. Ontario legalized regulated online betting and single-event betting on April 4 last year, and since then more than two dozen companies have entered the market, CBC News reports. Betting data shows Ontarians are betting more frequently on casino games and experts believe the sports side of the industry could benefit from offering more sports, such as curling, or allowing for live betting in the middle of an event.
