STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) – Money, gambling machines and one gun were seized when search warrants were executed at two places Wednesday, said Canton Police Chief John Gabbard.

According to Chief Gabbard, officers assigned to the department’s Coordinated Response Team, along with assistance from the patrol division, Stark County Metro Narcotics Unit and members of the Canton Regional SWAT Team raided an address in the 1900 block of Mahoning Rd. NE and the 1700 block of 6th St. SW.

A total of 119 gambling machines and $26,000 was found, said Chief Gabbard.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending.
