Do we really want Concord to be a destination for gambling? I think not. Now is a good time to rethink whether we want a large gambling casino in Concord or any gambling casino at all. How about letting another town in on the fun. A town with less scruples than Concord.
Concord has spent a lot of money and time to make downtown Concord pleasant and inviting, which it is. It is hard to see how a gambling casino on Loudon Road enhances or compliments Concord’s downtown. And another thing. Why do you think everyone refers to “gaming” when what they really mean is “gambling?” Let us be honest here.
