The group says improvements focused on enhancing the customer’s responsible gambling journey have driven the drop from Q4 2022’s 3.3 per cent figure, down again from 3.8 per cent in Q3 2022.

Kindred also acted on situations of high-risk gambling, with 83 per cent of detected customers seeing improved gambling behaviour after an intervention.

Henrik Tjärnström, CEO of Kindred Group, said the group has “continuously emphasised the importance of detecting and engaging” with potentially high-risk customers.

He added: “By our tech teams working hand in hand with the responsible gambling and customer facing teams, we can swiftly release improved interventions across different markets. All in line with our Journey towards Zero road map.”
