
GRAY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating after receiving a tip about gambling devices at a southwest Kansas gas station- convenience store.
The Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission followed up on the tip and determined the activity at the Corner Market, 111 Avenue A in Cimarron was illegal, according to Randy Evans with the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission.
On Wednesday, Gray County sheriff’s deputies assisted agents from the Gaming Commission to execute a search warrant at the business, according to Gray County Undersheriff Colby Ellis.
The agents seized $3,000 cash, 2 electronic gambling devices, documents and computer equipment, according to Evans.. Deputies made no arrests.
