Deputies from the Grenada County Sheriff’s Office, along with agents from the Mississippi Gaming Commission and Alcoholic Beverage Control, executed a search warrant at 25787 Highway 8 East, known as AK Express.

During the search, several illegal gaming machines were discovered, along with U.S. currency believed to be used for illegal gambling. The authorities seized associated currency and one gaming machine for evidentiary purposes, while the remaining illegal gaming machines were destroyed on the premises.

Amy M. Watson was arrested for gaming violations and cited by ABC for alcoholic beverage sales and illegal gambling. She is currently held at the Grenada County Jail with a bond set at $2,500.

The business owner was contacted during the raid but refused to come to the location. This operation is part of ongoing investigations into illegal activities in Grenada County.

All parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
