GORDON MOODY has unveiled plans for International Gambling Harms Awareness Day 2025, set to take place on Wednesday, 26 March 2025.
The initiative is designed to challenge stigma, promote open discussions, and enhance access to vital support services.

The theme for this year, #BehindTheBet, sheds light on the emotional, financial, and social repercussions of gambling-related harm — issues that often remain hidden from public view.
By sharing personal experiences, expert insights, and essential resources, the campaign seeks to highlight the fact that gambling addiction is not solely about financial losses – its impact extends far beyond money.
A key objective of the initiative is to emphasise the often hidden nature of gambling harm.
Many individuals suffer in silence, reluctant to seek help due to fear of judgement or a lack of awareness about the support available.
Gordon Moody’s ongoing mission is to foster a more understanding and supportive environment, ensuring that those affected by gambling addiction know they are not alone.
This campaign aligns with the organisation’s continued efforts to expand its services for those in need.
In late 2024, Gordon Moody launched its flagship residential treatment centre in Redditch, providing specialised therapy and rehabilitation programmes for individuals struggling with gambling addiction.
In addition, the organisation introduced a Gambling Support First Aid training programme to equip individuals with the skills necessary to identify and respond to signs of gambling-related harm.
Remember to gamble responsibly
