Calls are mounting for the Federal Government to do more on gambling reforms and to not abandon the key recommendations of the Murphy review.
Gambling reform advocate Peter Costello told RN Breakfast while he’s not a gambling prohibitionist, children should be protected from being “groomed” by the industry through advertising. He says while the “blindspot” in the US is guns, in Australia it’s gambling – and gambling losses.
