The head of the Island’s gambling regulator says he’s stepping down after 17 years in the job.

Steve Brennan, chief executive of the Gambling Supervision Commission, says he’ll be leaving the body at the end of this year.

The government’s advertising for someone to take over the role at the top of the organisation which oversees the Island’s egaming and cannabis industries.

On the government’s jobs website, it says the post pays up to £164,730 a year.
