Experts say new warnings won't be enough to counter appeal of gambling ads

The phrase ‘gamble responsibly’ will soon be ditched from betting ads, in favour of new warnings about the risks of taking a punt.

The Federal Government insists there’s clear evidence that the new taglines will reduce harm.

Experts say it doesn’t stand a chance against the techniques used by an industry worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
