Gambling industry believes government proposals to curb advertising and sports sponsorship and to restrict online betting are too draconian

In its present form, Ireland’s new gambling regulation bill seems unworkably draconian – at least if you listen to Flutter, Entain, Racing TV, Boylesports and a host of other betting companies.

All the above operators have raised concerns over the government’s plan to curtail their advertising abilities and impose strict new rules around online betting.
