SOUTH FORT MYERS, Fla. — It’s game over for anyone who likes to play at Spin City Arcade in south Fort Myers.
Deputies were out all day on Tuesday emptying out the adult arcade at 13550 Reflections Parkway.
“My coworker told me the cops were there, and I’m sure something illegal was going down; we don’t know,” said Mitch Miriani, who works at Jet’s Pizza in the same plaza.
Illegal indeed. The Lee County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said the gambling that was going on at Spin City Arcade needed to be shut down.

Deputies were at the arcade all day emptying out the business.
“I never suspected anything. It seemed pretty low-key; a lot of people were just playing slot machines. They had pop and food,” said Miriani.
Deputies took out more than 50 gaming machines, including slot machines.
Customers have been by and are turned away, shocked at how quickly the place was emptied out.
NBC2 tried to speak to the people who work there, but they did not want to talk to us.
LCSO left with two trucks full of machines.
