A DailyMail.com Senior Reporter won a prestigious press award on Sunday for a story that implicates the President in his son’s shady business dealings.
Josh Boswell, 30, was awarded first place in the ‘National Political/Government Reporting’ category at the Southern California Journalism Awards in Los Angeles.
The winning story, chosen from over 2,300 entries, reported the claims of a whistleblower who said they were on a 2012 conference call with then-Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter discussing a Latin American online gambling business.
The whistleblower revealed Joe was active on the call discussing details of the business, and appeared to be involved as a ‘silent partner’.
‘I’m thrilled to have won this award. There are so many great reporters in Southern California so it means a lot to me that the judges went with my piece,’ Boswell said.
