Crown Resorts believes the launch of expanded reforms to prevent problem gambling will help erase a “stigma” attached to its properties and play an important part in reviving its reputation.
New bosses appointed after the $9 billion sale of the group to US investor Blackstone last year reckon the image of Crown’s hotel, restaurant, bar and retail complexes has been tarnished by negative perceptions about the casino operations that generate the lion’s share of profits.
