The Gambling Commissioner remains confident Gibraltar will continue to be an attractive jurisdiction within the gaming industry.
Andrew Lyman says that despite recent difficulties for the sector, including the fallout from Brexit and Gibraltar being grey-listed, the biggest gaming companies locally have reiterated their commitment to the Rock.
Remote gambling accounts for 28% of Gibraltar’s GDP and Mr Lyman says while some companies may be downsizing and closing, an upcoming, updated gambling act will likely attract more inward investment.
