Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has blocked 331 online gambling sites as part of routine drives.
Moreover, Google authorities concerned have already closed 14 online gambling or betting related Google apps. Steps have been taken to justify the remaining apps.
Due to online gambling through Facebook and YouTube, along with publicity of Google apps and gambling training related sites, 17 Facebook links and 17 YouTube links have been shut. The closure of remaining links is under process.
