Ireland’s largest independent betting company Boylesports breached an industry-wide ban on gambling advertising during the broadcast of last Saturday’s FA Cup final.

The firm bought half time spots during Premier Sports coverage of one the most watched matches of the year despite signing up to a code of conduct which states that no ads would be permitted for the five minutes before or five minutes after pre-watershed live sports
