Former Machachari actor Tyler Mbaya popularly known as Baha has finally come out to address the problem he has been dealing with for a while since he was exposed for conning people a few days ago, by American-based Nurse Judy.

Talking to content creators Baha admitted that he has been having challenges with gambling for a while and that he had started finding help from professionals. Baha went ahead to admit that indeed he was not in a good place and that is why he resulted to lying to people to get some money.

“I’m an actor by profession, I’m a young dad and I’ve been struggling with the underlying issue (gambling) for a while and I’m really willing to seek help. I found myself deep into gambling because of a series of bad decisions that piled up to a point where I feel that my finances were a bit crippled so I was trying to get fast money – which was pretty much gambling,” the actor said.
He went on to add that his wife Georgina has been supportive of him through the hardship.
“The finances were not necessarily for bills because my shawty (girlfriend) was helping out so the majority of it was now the elevation of getting from one place to the other – because of the pressure of society’s expectations because if it was basic needs, that was all sorted out. I was also managing on my own because basic needs were not things I was unable to hack. It was the luxuries in life that I was lacking and I had pressure to search for them.”

Nurse Judy when exposing Baha said that he had lied to her that he was being evicted from their house due to rent arrears. She went further to send him $150 only to come to learn later from Georgina that, that was not true.
The drama had led people to speculate that the couple had broken up but Georgina cleared that up through her Instagram page. Taking to her Instagram Georgina posted a statement that read,” Najua mnangojaga sana mapenzi yanirambe. Najua.”
The statement almost assured their followers that they are not breaking up. This is despite their unfollowing each other on social media.
In another incident, some time ago followers of the fan-favorite couple were left confused when a strange breakup announcement appeared on Georgina’s Instagram stories and then quickly disappeared. Georgina seemed to have confirmed a split between her and her boyfriend Tyler in the post.
