By April next year, the tag-line “gamble responsibly” will be retired and replaced with one of seven options including “chances are, you’re about to lose” and “what are you really gambling with?”.
The advertising crackdown is part of a push to curb problem gambling, although the government has stopped short of banning gambling ads altogether.
