Assassins Creed Mirage To Have Real Gambling In-Game

Ubisoft Forward was a great event for all Assassins Creed fans as they received plenty of new content to look forward too during this showcase. At first, they were introduced to the all new instalment to the series, Assassins Creed Mirage, which will be set in Baghdad. Then they were also shown some teasers for a smartphone game, codenamed ‘Jade’, a game set in feudal Japan, codenamed ‘Red’, another game codenamed ‘Hexe’ and a platform to connect all of the players and games, called ‘Infinity‘.

Assassins Creed Mirage stole the show that day, thanks to the beautiful cinematics that were showcased during the first look and the return of the fan favourite character, Basim. Players were also told that Emmy winner, Shoreh Aghdashloo will be lending her voice to Roshan, who is also Basim’s mentor. Players will get to see the journey of Basim from being a petty thief, to becoming a master Assassin. Thanks to leaks, we have learned about another exciting feature that can be added to the game.

As we all know, the game is now available for pre-order and players can purchase a pre-order copy right now for AC Mirage. What players haven’t noticed is that, the game’s rating has also been announced, and a user from ResetEra has noticed a peculiar fact in the rating. Assassins Creed Mirage has been rated Adults Only 18+, thats due to intense violence, blood and gore, sexual themes, partial nudity and real gambling. The real gambling point has caught the attention of many players.

Now, the real gambling description states that, “player can gamble, including betting or wagering real cash or currency”. This point has certainly caught the attention of many players as such a feature has never existed in an Assassins Creed game. Many players have also been wondering about the execution, whether it will be through a mini-game and how will other players come in to the picture. Many also feel that this could be a mistake or provisional rating and could change when the game is closer to release. Players will have to just be patient to know for sure whether real gambling will be available in the next Assassins Creed title.
