‘Bombardment’ of gambling ads targeting young Australians

Australia is dealing with a “bombardment” of gambling advertisements broadcasted around live sporting events and it’s becoming increasingly aimed towards young people, says Monash University Associate Professor Dr Charles Livingstone.

“What we’re seeing is a literal bombardment of advertising,” he told Sky News contributor Steve Price.

“It’s frequently targeting young people, young men for the most part but young women increasingly.”
