Fans are working fast and furious to come up with Diablo 4 tools to help players in the game, whether that’s interactive build guides or Altar of Lilith maps. But I just discovered one (via IcyVeins) that works to maximize your Obol spending if you are hunting down specific affixes.
While Obol gambling later in the game will start producing mostly rather lackluster iLevel gear, it is still one of the best ways to hunt down missing Aspects that are not dropping in the wild.
However, you may not know which Aspects drop on which type of gear, nor which type of gear is the best to gamble on, based on what else is in the pool.
That’s where this new tool from Diablo4.life comes in. It has every aspect and every piece of gear chronicled so you can figure out which piece of gear is the best to gamble for. This also will recommend which class to gamble on too, because some have less things in the pool than others.
For instance, for my Barbarian build, I am looking for the Aspect that lets you have increased movement speed and pass through enemies while Unstoppable. But according to this tool, the best place to get that Aspect is to gamble for Boots on a Druid, because the Druid has less overall competing aspects in the pool. This doesn’t always work if you don’t have the alt class at hand, but in this case, I do!
It can be very, very hard to get the exact Aspects you’re looking for, and especially at high rolls of them, so anything to help with that is great. Obol farming is usually pretty quick, especially late game when you can easily blow through most public events, but you still want to make sure you spend them wisely.
In terms of Aspects more generally, I would save/extract essentially any one you see that is a perfect roll at Sacred or above. Even if it’s not for your build, if you ever want to change builds, the meta shifts or Aspects get nerfs or buffs, you may want something on hand you didn’t know you needed. I cannot count the number of Legendary Aspects I salvaged because they didn’t seem useful at the time that I wish I had now.
So, this should really help your Obol spending, and I hope you get what you’re looking for.
