The NFL has sought the help of the man considered to be its greatest-ever star given a battle against what appears to be rife gambling among players in the league.

The entity has already issued multiple suspensions this offseason due to gambling violations and several more bans are expected to come down in the coming weeks.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, Brady recorded the introduction to an educational video on gambling that will be shown at every team facility. While the league is now in bed with gambling companies, it’s pretty fearful that a gambling scandal could taint its reputation. As a result, players are prohibited from betting on NFL games.

They are free to bet on other sports as long as they don’t do so while they’re at team facilities.

Per Klis, Brady highlights his love for football in the recording, pointing out that playing in the NFL is a privilege and that betting undermines the integrity of the league.

The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback knows a thing or two about maintaining an NFL career, having played professional football for 23 years. He tells current players that betting is just not worth the risk.

This comes on the back of reports that Indianapolis Colts cornerback and kick returner Isaiah Rodgers could be facing expulsion from the league amid investigations that have already determined that he bet on multiple NFL games.
