Shadow Communications Minister David Coleman says advertisements during football are intrusive in a way which is not good for Australian families and the “time for a complete ban has come”.
“What we feel now very strongly is the time for a complete ban has come, the advertising is very intrusive, footy time should be family time,” Mr Coleman told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
“The ads are really intrusive and they’re changing our culture in a way that isn’t good for the country.”
