Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has challenged Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to support his call for a ban on gambling advertisements during sports matches.

Mr Dutton believes outgoing AFL Chief Gillon McLachlan and NRL Boss Andrew Abdo have a moral obligation to wean themselves off gambling revenue.
He is also calling for the ban to be implemented an hour before and after the games.
