The Walker County Sheriff’s Office shut down three suspected illegal gambling operations Friday.
Investigators, along with an inspector with the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board, visited two public businesses in Empire, Manchester, and one just outside of Carbon Hill.

A search warrant was issued at one of the locations, which authorities believed had more than one business in operation.
