Kursaal Bern AG is significantly increasing its stake in Grand Casino Kursaal Bern. The Group is acquiring a minority stake of 13.5 percent from Casinos Austria (Swiss) AG. The two parties have agreed not to disclose the value of the transaction.

The Bern-based Kursaal Group now holds 68.5 percent, as announced on Thursday evening. The remaining 31.5 percent will remain with Swiss Casinos Holding AG. With this transaction, the Kursaal Group aims to strengthen its position as a leading Swiss congress, hotel/catering and casino company.
