RCMP say a longtime City of Toronto senior bureaucrat was part of an organized crime gambling ring allegedly run by an ex-Hells Angels hit man.

The charges announced last month by the RCMP have shocked former city hall colleagues of Kypros (Kyp) Perikleous who retired Dec. 31 after being on medical leave since 2018 with a heart condition.
