The Spanish gambling regulator has revealed it plans to award subsidies for new research tackling problem gambling.
The grants, worth €950,620, will also look to improve problem gambling prevention and awareness of related risks.
The concession of the grants will be made on a “competitive basis,” the Directorate General for the Regulation of Gambling said.
The application period is open until May 6 and the execution period of the projects will be extended until June 30 next year.
