Visiting Phoenix can certainly help with that, as the Suns are 27th in the NBA for opponent 3-point percentage at home, as well as 21st in number of made three’s allowed. The Suns will have all their stars in this game, so Ant will need a big performance to keep the Wolves competitive, and that means splashing a few from deep.

While a lot of attention is being paid to Indiana’s wildly high-scoring games, not too far behind them in the crazy final scores department is Dallas. On the season, the Mavericks are second to the Pacers for record to the over (9-2) and plus/minus to the total at plus-11.3, so they’ve seen their fair share of shootouts.

Dallas games get to the over so frequently because of the league’s top 3-point volume and percentage, a top-5 pace, and a disregard for defense. The Mavs also had 131 points put on them last night in New Orleans, so their defensive effort will be even less tonight. We know the Wizards don’t play defense and fly around at the fastest tempo in the league, so if they turn in one of their usual performances this should make its way over the insanely high total.
