COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) — A man and a woman were charged on Friday, Oct. 27 with gambling said the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.
According to SLED, Dana Patriska Riley is being charged with gambling, and Fred Charles Mccary is being charged with gambling and 20 counts of unlawful possession/operation of a gambling device.
Riley is accused of being in control of the gaming house where SLED agents executed the search warrant.
Agents said during the Thursday, Oct. 26 search, 29 illegal video gaming devices, some of which were identified as ‘Pot of Gold’ were located at the gaming house.
Mccary is accused of operating the devices which deputies say were confirmed to be used for illegal gambling.
Both Riley and Mccary were booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
