20 detained, multiple eight-liners seized in gambling bust on West Side, BSCO says

SAN ANTONIO – Deputies seized multiple eight-liners, weapons and cash in two gambling busts on Wednesday morning, according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

BCSO said two buildings in the 2000 block of Guadalupe Street and the 1200 block of Bandera Road were raided before 6 a.m.

At the locations, they found dozens of eight-liner machines, weapons, cash, and a small amount of drugs.

Deputies believe the locations are tied to an outlaw motorcycle gang.

A couple of dozen of people were detained, and deputies are investigating who will face charges.

Both locations had armed guards, and at the Guadalupe site, the SWAT team had to ram through a metal gate to get inside.

They were nondescript buildings that were fortified with metal grates on the windows.

The investigation is ongoing.
