18 Accused Of Illegal Gambling At Duluth Bar, Owners At Large

DULUTH, GA — Police say they are searching for the three owners of Royal Flush Bar and Grill after 18 people accused of illegal gambling were arrested last week at the Pleasant Hill Road business.

Gwinnett County Police said Wednesday officers arrested five employees and 13 customers on Sept. 11 while executing a search warrant. Police did not say what prompted the search.

At least $50,000 in cash, gambling-related paraphernalia and other items were seized during the search, police said.

Warrants have been issued to arrest Royal Flush owners Michael Kim, 56, of Duluth, Ingram Boykins, 52, of Lawrenceville, and Robert Utes, 56, of Jefferson, police said. The trio remained at large Wednesday. They were not present at the time of the search.

Police said the following employees were charged on suspicion of commercial gambling:

  • Almena Denise Mccall, 47, Forest Park
  • Joseph Flauta, 58, Lawrenceville
  • Victoria Sue Um, 38, Buford

Police said the following people were charged on suspicion of gambling:

  • James Walter Leverette, 45, Atlanta
  • Barrington Ricardo Anderson, 41, Columbia, South Carolina
  • Robert Alexander Hill, 44, Lagrange
  • John Psomiadis, 66, Atlanta
  • Duc Thanh Le 25, Norcross
  • Ayotunde Olufemi Dennis, 38, Atlanta
  • Ramsey Poyner Jones, 54, Chamblee
  • Vincent Mitchell Viani, 39, Yantic, Connecticut
  • Yongrui Liu, 36, West Covina, California
  • Hyungi Lee, 34, Duluth
  • Anthony Eli Brown, 55, Dacula
  • Ho Son, 49, Acworth
  • Gao Jie Guangie, 52, Duluth
