Bathinda: A man was killed while another person was injured in exchange of gunfire between two groups in Moga town on Tuesday night.
The firing, learnt to have taken place in a gambling den, was allegedly a fallout of a monetary dispute. Moga resident Vikas Jindal was killed in the shootout, while Veer Singh received a bullet in his thigh. He has been admitted to Moga civil hospital.
Senior superintendent of police (SSP), Moga, J Elenchezhian said some persons had been arrested in connection with the murder.A case has been registered and investigations are going on, said the police.

Man accused of murder, loot killed in police encounter in Mathura
